so I am not really the consummate television set guru but when my partner and i put the tv in my room i was extensively awed by the expertise. i didn’t have time to buy a blu-ray player nevertheless but when i place standard def More than 200 dvd in my dvd player i was still blown away. easy to install and the sound quality is quite good for a Guided.
recommendation: i suggest trying to purchase this on a website which bundles the 3d starter package using this type of tv for only A hundred more. the Three dimensional starter package is actually 250 by itself which is definitely a must obtain so unless you detest 3d i suggest you look for the bundle for sale right now for around 1600 usd.
5/09/11: okay, do not look for the deal manufactured with the starter kit. used to do some research and the cups they give you are old gen. go seek out the new active Animations glasses on the the new sony website. they were for sale for 140 and they are a great deal. btw this particular tv has a built-in Animations transmitter so you Sony KDL40EX720 don’t need to go buy one, which is 60 dollars saved.
Even so, the 3d high quality is not as nice while i would’ve hoped for. Your reasoning is that tv set ISNT actually 240hz but only true 120hz. In 3d the frame fee gets even more slowly, so i only advise this TV if you don’t have a great need for Three dimensional but really want a television with great web features.
