so I am certainly not the consummate tv guru but when my spouse and i put the tv within my room i was completely awed by the encounter. i didn’t have time to purchase a blu-ray player nevertheless but when i place standard def 300 dvd in my dvd and blu-ray player i was still blown away. easy to set up and the sound quality is fairly good for a LED.
recommendation: i suggest trying to get this on a website in which bundles the 3d starter package using this tv for only 100 more. the Animations starter package will be 250 by itself and is also definitely a must acquire so unless you detest 3d i suggest you seek out the bundle on discount sales right now for around 1600 usd.
5/09/11: okay, don’t look for the deal manufactured with the starter kit. used to some research and the cups they give you are elderly gen. go try to find the new active 3 dimensional glasses on the the new sony website. they were on sale for 140 and they are generally a great deal. btw this particular tv has a built-in Three dimensional transmitter so you don’t need to get buy one, which is 60 dollars saved.
Nevertheless, the 3d high quality is not as nice as I would’ve hoped for. The particular reasoning is that television ISNT actually 240hz only true 120hz. In 3 dimensional the frame charge gets even slower, so i only recommend this Sony KDL55EX720 TV without a great need for 3 dimensional but really want a tv with great net features.
