I have been trying to decide what would replace my personal 7 year old Sony 55″ LCD rear screening machine, which has served us very well, for nearly per year. My requirements were 65″+ (otherwise, what is the point). 3D was not required, but I was not against it. My 1st close look was your Samsung 65″ LED, nevertheless found it was affected with burning whitened spots. Not being able to find this TV anywhere to witness direct kept me coming from going ahead. I have find about Sharp’s upcoming 70″ Quattron, and ended up being leaning that direction, especially after being very happy with the 52″ I got myself for my bedroom. Unsure of costs and a flat out need to get something done, I relied heavily after the reviews which might be out there on this Vizio. I came across no one review reprehended this TV with regard to anything more than minor problems. Thus, I required a leap associated with faith.
This Tv set does not disappoint. Today, I strictly utilize it as a monitor. We feed all products through my brand new Yamaha RX-A3000 receiver (which I recommend without any hesitation whatsoever.) Components fed over the receiver include; Blu-ray, HD-DVD, Laser beam Disc (I know), DirecTV HD, and the music items. Everything works on HDMI, with the exception of the particular Laser Disc, i am using S-video along with Optical audio.
I need to say that I am excess of pleased with the results of the set. I do agree, that it is highly indicative (as is XVT3D650SV my Well-defined quattron). I have blinds to handle this issue. The only complex knock I can provide it with, is that it could have blacker greens. Most, including personally, could care a smaller amount. I am not entering that in a beauty tournament, and it will not piss me off. I am quite happy, as well as my movies look wonderful on it.
The amazon . com pricing and shipping and delivery service only topped off my selection. One week in, I ponder what kept us from taking this leap of faith before. Well, I guess it turned out lack of reviews, so I guess I hope this should help you as well.
Oh yeah, in terms of 3D goes, I consider it a novelty, and minimal use anyways. However, I’ve been more than impressed by the outcome, and for as much as I can tell anyone actually using it, I cannot understand each of the possibel technical knocks on this system. It is much better than I could have dreamed it to be. In fact using the right video resources, I can’t see how anybody knocks it at all.
The price is not lower, but in comparison in order to alternatives in its dimensions; it blows aside the competition. Based upon the things i have read and understand, there will always be some minimal negatives to any Directed sets 65″ and over.
